This is a great product. I bought it for my husband who has been very successful using it for catching bait fish from our dock. I would recommend it to any first time user
Excellent product. Catching a lot of shrimp with it. Throws well, makes a good pancake pattern, sinks fast.

Exactly what I was hoping for

Very well put together. Used it on the pier last week and even scored myself a small bonnethead. Nice weight and very convenient for recreational angler like me. love how much money on bait I've saved since i bough it
Haven't used it. But the construction is very nice. We;ll see.
Easy to use. We will get the larger size later on as we get more practice.
just what I wanted
Great tool well built
My very first casting net, took it to the islands and to did the job.

perfect for the beginner. I am 55 y.o. grandmother and I can cast this net fairly well after a few warm ups. I recommend it for the price.
Mae from Missouri
great for catching koi
Excellent net for catching shads and Sunnys. Ill toss a 6 live sunny and wait for a super fat stinky sea donkey whisker cat!! Master baiting for giant behemoth scarred up one-eyed Willy whales is totally kick ass especially at brush when there are no scumbags there killing horses!
I love this net and I take it with me when I kayak fish. I can throw the net easily from a sitting position in my kayak. Very high quality monofilament net and lead anchors. I expect it will last me for many years. Rolls up fairly small also so I can tuck it away. Sinks fast to catch all that bait.
Worked great. Used it in Carribean to catch bait fish for shore fishing. ON MY 4TH throw I caught a bunch which I used to catch a nice Snook. Will take it with me on my vacations from now on.
Cool little net - look out mullet.
This was a gift & was a great hit. It arrived on time, in good condition & was well-liked. Thanks
One cast, bucket is full.
Product was just as advertised. Works great
the net was just like it's explanation. service was fast
This net works great for catching bait such as shad to fish for catfish and striped bass. Many state regulates cast net diameter and/or mesh size. Research your local law to ensure that the cast net you are buying is within regulations.
-lead weight allows for faster sinking. Many other nets uses non-lead weight which does not have the same density and therefore do not sink as quick.
-1lb per radius foot rating is a good balance of quick sinking yet not too heavy to cast a few times. This rating means that the net has approximately 5lb of lead sinkers.
-3/8" mesh size is good for catching shads
-box is well made
-box does not have a handle
-price is quite a bit more expensive than non-lead cast nets
Works way better than the one it replaced!
Should have purchased a smaller net
Does a good job
Good quality as expected but the throw rope is a bit short
This is a very well made net. Sinks fast, holds up to twigs and rocks very well. I baught this net because of a recommendation from a fishing buddy who had wonderful things to say about Shark Find nets and I think this is the best value of all their products.
Great net. Easy to throw and packs up nicely.
W & A Welch
Quality net, well made, and spreads perfect. I would definitely recommend Shark Find Magic Fish Net for saltwater and freshwater fishing. It hasn't let me down yet.
I have been using Shark Find cast nets for years they are the best quality net for the price. It sinks fast and there are a lot of weights. The thing I love about it is you can throw the net with so much ease because it is do light. Great net!
I actually bought it to catch turkeys. It served its' purpose, well.
I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He LOVES it so much!!! I researched cast nets a lot before purchasing it and I HIGHLY suggest this net. Bass Pro Shop sells this net for almost $30 more than Shark Find. Whether you're a pro or beginner definitely get the 6' net. It took some getting used to but my husband has it down packed now :) I highly suggest this net!!!
Net is well made. I was impressed with its flexibility right out of the box. It will be my go to net in the future for sure.
Nice net, I soaked it in fabric softener and now its the best net I have ever owned
Kenneth W. Harbin
This cast net is very good quality and works well.
Good net and great price. Used it for mullet
I really like the weight and the diameter of the 6 foot. I'm a newbie so after watching a few videos and trying it out, I was able to catch at least a hundred peanut bunker from a pier. It's really fun seeing tbh em get caught and swim up towards the surface as the net sinks. The net is really durable so far, I've only used it about 5 times this past season. I would say that you should definitely give it a good wash after use to prevent salt residue and bad smells
Bought this for my son he likes it.
Solid little cast net
This is a good quality net. Good construction, easy to throw.
Only downside is once it is torn it quickly becomes useless, but this is true of most nets
I have had several of these in differrent sizes and they are good quality for the price. I prefer the 5ft size but this time got the 4 ft as the 5 was not available. It works great.
Awesome works perfectly.??????
Bought this for my husband. He is a novice but he liked it.
Good net with real lead weights.. Doesn't tangle as easy as some other brands that I have owned ..
works great... caught crap and bait fish!!!
A truly great cast net! Looks good, throws good, and puts bait in your boat! Get one!
Can't wait to use it
Decent quality net and weights, I'm not a pro so, not he best judge
this works great for back water cast netting- great bang for the buck- they sell the same one at cabela's-gander mountain- tackle shops for $20 more than on Shark Find, container is good for storage, would buy again
i actualy order the 10 ft. net too. i use it all the time. awsome
My father, who fishes in salt water, received this recently as a father's day gift. He prefers something he can control a bit better, and thus, I purchased the 4' one. He said the cast net is well-made and can't wait to try it out. He's an honest kind of person, so if he really didn't like it, I know he'd tell me. The area was close to Harvey's path recently, but hopefully he can try it out soon!
Good quality, weights should be spread or larger so not to tangle.
Decent Value - Very high quality net...
Great for gathering mullet for fishing. I have a 17 foot Skiff so room to cast the net on board is a priority. This net works well.
No fish yet. Throwing is fun and good exercise.
Great product but wish I bought the smaller one. We only use it for tad pools and frogs in small ponds.
Works great for size
Myre Asian Market
Great net, sinks fast.
Easy to use
I like it is the best
works as expected
we took this to cuba for our dad to fish and everyone loved it they have not stopped using it
Only complaint is be throw line is too short and I cannot find matching rope anywhere.
Durable and cast great. Good for shallow waters under 2-3ft
Works great! This is my first cast net, and everyone I talked to said you cannot beat the value of a Shark Find Magic Fish Net. It takes some practice, but eventually youll get the hang of it. It helps if you have a friend that is quite good at throwing one. If not, there are plenty of YouTube videos that explain the basics.
great product and price, fast shipping

We really like this net and we caught a lot of fish just for fun the kids then we return them to the sea but the big ones;-)
Kids have a lot of fun. Good quality and simple.Very happt with this net
Folds easily once you learn the trick.
This net was easy to learn for a beginner like me! good quality cast net!
Promptly shipped and well constructed! As advertised and the case is a plus. Learning to use a cast net is an art form, so don't blame the net if you aren't successful at first ;-)
Great net, easy to throw good round spreads. It is pretty limp, which makes it easier to throw. Stiff nets can be hard to work with.
I chum up pin fish with a few pieces of shrimp, then throw the net. Picks up even small pin fish around 2" or less.
We bought the small size to learn on and then will go to the larger net. Good quality. Evenly balanced. No complaints.
First met I've had and it works great. Saw some tutorials on YouTube and now I can throw like a champ, without using teeth. The rope is long enough. Sometimes the fish get gilled and stuck in the net. It will catch most size from 3 to 6 inches as advertised. Caught a flounder, a sting ray, about a thousand finger mullet, and small brim. It's a great product.
Love it. It was just what I was looking for. I bought another net and it was torn when I opened it. I've owned several nets and this is the size that is best for casting off a pier for bait fish. Not too small, not so crazy big you can not handle it but it is on the big size so I would say not for beginners. Don't need to be a pro but should have some experience before buying a net this size. Weights are on the smaller side but there are so many of them it actually feels heavier than my old net that had larger weights. The rope at the bottom that forms the huge circle is white nylon type rope rather than the plastic black weave rope that comes undone and frays so easily. The black type has been on every type of net I have owned so I am interested on how this will work.
Rope is very very very very very very very very very long. Did I mention the rope is long?
Great net at a great price. Had searched many places for a net this size made of mono line and finally found this one. Sons are really enjoying catching all sorts of critters in this net .
THIS NET REALLY WORKS GREAT IT OPENS EASELY ,BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL HOLD UP WELL TO HARD CORE USE
Love these brand of castnets and got this for one of my son's for Christmas. It was a Lightning Deal which means it was a great price on top of the everyday good price. The 6ft was a nice upgrade from his 4ft net as he gets older. He's looking forward to using it on our trip to Florida!
Works great seams to be great quality
Great net for the money
Works fine, but a bit fragile, rips easily on snags.
M. L. Wilson
It works as advertised. I make a few casts and get the bait I need and then it's fishing for the rest of the day. Just follow the instructions for the size net you have and you can't go wrong.
Awesome net once you know how to use it.
Pretty good cast net
I have had cast nets for years. I used to fish offshore a lot now most of my salt water fishing is onshore or shorter offshore trips. I typically use pinfish, sardines & other smaller live baits. I find this 6' net is easy to cast and provides me with all the bait I need without too much effort. Hate to admit it but with injuries & being 64 smaller is sometimes better.
This net is decent, bought it to replace another that got caught on some rocks. It doesn't really seem to want to open up all the way, it is very much cone shaped when it opens up, but still works fairly well. I haven't yet soaked it in fabric softener but I will try it, and see how it does then.
Good quality net!
